True Detective has just wrapped up it's first season and it has quickly become one of my favorite shows. Now, I agree that you should avoid judging a book by its cover, but a lot can be said about a show by its title sequence. When I first saw the opening sequence, I was taken back by the artistic vision of the piece. It's deep, dark, and full of nods to moments in the show. The team behind the sequence, Antibody, have worked on a ton of awesome projects, and this one delivers. Check out the video and visit the link below to see how it all came together.

The writers at Petapixel have developed one of the best blogs for photography aficionados, and this post by Samantha Stocks does not disappoint. She has done an awesome job of agregating some of the most inspirational words from some of history's best photographers. My favorite has to be the following, by Henri Cartier-Bresson:

Your first 10,000 photographs are your worst.

It's a simple reminder that your best photograph is, arguably, the one you will take tomorrow. Go ahead and give the post a full read. You're bound to come across something that may inspire you.
