Alexander Khokhlov is a name you've probably never heard of, but you should take notice of his work right now. Having only started his career in 2008, Alexander has amassed a good amount of depth and versatility to his portfolio. One of which that really stands out is his 2D Or Not 2D series. Here, you have a set of portraits that give the perception of a 2D image, when in fact they are photographs of painted models. Text does not do this portfolio justice, so make sure to visit his site and go through the entire gallery. It's pieces like this that really motivate you to push yourself further.
