I will admit that I added this video to our Watch This repository before watching it. When you skim the web as much as I do, sometimes you just know when you come across something of value. This video, by PBS nonetheless, offers a new look at portrait photography. It's more educational in nature, but there is no disputing the content. It's a genuine look at portrait photographers and the ideas behind the art in itself. A family sits down and poses for a picture. Sounds simple enough. But the end picture has far greater implications than originally anticipated. Most of us take photography for granted. This video highlights why we shouldn't, and the power we wield today.
